Curriculum Manager £40,285 -£40,540 per annum 37 hours per week The working pattern is Monday -Thursday 7.5 & 7 hours on Friday 52 weeks per annum Witney Campus Permanent Are you looking for an opportunity to become a Curriculum Manager in a challenging,yet rewarding position in a highly successful Oxfordshire College Do you have an inclusive and open-minded approach to education Would you like the opportunity to broaden your experience and develop your knowledge of specialist SEND provision Abingdon &Witney College are looking to appoint an ambitious and highly motivated Curriculum Manager to lead and develop our nationally recognised Pathways programmes for SEND learners. This is an opportunity for personal development with support and mentoring fromexisting college staff with specialist SEND knowledge. You will have: A proven track record of high quality and inclusive teaching and some experience of meeting the needs of young people with Special Educational Needs in either a mainstream or specialistcurriculum environment. The ability to relate to students and adults with a range of learning disabilities from mild to profound, and young people aspiring to develop the skills and independence for a fulfilling adult and working life. Some understanding ofprocesses related to Education, Health and Care Plans, and the drive and motivation to undertake further learning in this area. Excellent communication and organisational skills . Experience of working with parents, staff and external agencies. Ability tounderstand the needs of a specialist SEND curriculum and co-ordinate an outstanding and comprehensive curriculum offer for all our learners. This role is pivotal in meeting our aim of enabling all young people who access our Pathways programmes to achievetheir full potential in life.
