We are looking for two Curators to join our curatorial team at the BFI National Archive.Curator of Contemporary Film FictionThe Curator of Contemporary Fiction Film will be responsible for the research, acquisition, development and documentation of contemporaryBritish fiction film and moving image in the BFI National Archive.You will be an expert in your field and will have a proven track record of interpreting collections/film for the public. You will also have experience working with contemporary British fictionfilmmaking (including feature films, short films, and new forms such as VR and immersive work, and videogames and interactive media).Curator of TelevisionThis is a key role within the department which will involve working closely with the Senior Curator ofTelevision to manage and care for the television collection within the BFI National Archive.You will be an expert in your field with demonstrable experience or knowledge of moving image archiving or other appropriate form of heritage collections management.You will have a proven track record of interpreting collections for the public and conducting research.Both roles are predominantly based at BFI Stephen Street, however, in response to the current Covid-19 pandemic all team members are currently working remotelyfrom home until the foreseeable future.We support diversity and inclusion, and as an organisation recognise that we need to address under representation within our teams.
