Job Description

My client, a leading private healthcare provider based in Central London have an immediate requirement for a Credit Control or Cash Collection Team leader / Supervisor to join and lead there busy credit and cash teams.

  • Supervising the cash collection team of 12, plus one cashier, with responsibility for cash collection from private patients, insurers, sponsors, embassies and companies (B to B and B to C).
  • Ensure delivery of targeted DSO and cash collection targets, keeping debts to a minimum, whilst managing a high value, high volume portfolio.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely cash posting, ensuring end of day reconciliation is completed.
  • Provision of aged debtor reporting to the HoS, including DSO, cash targets, participation in KPI measurements.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with all major stakeholders, including internal stakeholders.
  • People and talent development. Encourage training and learning initiatives for the team to stimulate development.
  • Oversee accurate AR data maintenance.
  • Monitor cash collection and KPIs including management of unidentified cash and queries. Monitor daily and weekly cash collection targets and provide regular updates.
  • Provide key reporting to Head of Billing and Credit.
  • Participate in projects contributing to the continuous improvement of processes. Take ownership of process improvement both directly within Cash Collection function and engage with all internal functions across the E2E value chain.
  • Liaison with 3rd party collection agency.
  • Seek to maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
