Job Description

Credit Control Manager - International - £50K + BenefitsMy client is a successful global Fintech business with an enviable customer base. They have grown organically and by acquisition and continue to scale at pace.They currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Credit Management professional to handle the collection of cash for their international territories and ensure billing happens on time for these regions.Reporting into the Group Billing and Credit Control Manager, you will be tasked with looking after your own ledger and will be expected to operate in the detail as well as having the ability to see the bigger picture / oversee an offshore team.Duties Include;

  • Timely and effective collection of all debts and client payments.
  • Managing a £20m ledger in 5 different currencies, approx. 5000 transactions a month
  • Executing and Assisting billing for the Switzerland and Luxembourg territories, as well as supporting the process improvements to Sales Force and NetSuite.
  • Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally in respect of unpaid invoices.
  • Manage credit note process to completion.
  • Managing an offshore team of credit controllers to ensure effective cash collection and cash forecasting on a weekly/Monthly basis
  • Ensure Salesforce Cases are up to date for the Global ledgers.
  • General support for the Finance Function.
The successful candidate;
  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Demonstrate managerial experience / potential
  • Ability to reconcile complex accounts.
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations.
  • Solid Excel and able to use basic formulas, V-Lookup, Pivot Tables
  • Proficient in MS Office 365
  • Experience in NetSuite and Salesforce is desirable
