Creative Design and Media Production Teachers for Secondary Schools in UAEfor AUGUST 2021Our client is hiring Creative Design and Media Production Teachers for Secondary grade levels 9 - 12 to create effective and stimulating learner-centered opportunities for learning through high quality instruction that enables the development and progression of all students. To have enthusiasm for the subject matter that inspires others to have a lifelong love of learning and the motivation, skills and attitudes to be productive citizens contributing positively to the development of the country. Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organizing learning resources and the classroom environment. Meeting with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors and administrators to resolve any possible behavioural or academic problems. Must also establish clear objectives for all lessons, and projects. Distribute, collect and grade homework assignments, tests and projects and attend staff meetings. Inspire students and assist them to develop their creativity and self-expression through various Creative Design forms and media Enjoy creative work and display artistic talent Instructs students in Creative Design - painting, sketching, drawing, printmaking, ceramic, sculpturing and areas of Creative Design,such as illustration, art history, or commercial art, elements of design, graphics, product design and environmental studies Introduce students to a range of mixed media, techniques and design processes in both 2D and 3D form Teach students the visual language of Creative Design through the promotion of skills, knowledge and understanding Strategies are employed which encourage students to recognize and appreciate qualities of line, tone, texture, pattern, color, shape, form and space etc. Because each student comes to class with their own ideas and suggestions, teachers must allow a certain amount of creativity without imposing their ideas onto students Creative Design classes provide the opportunity to work with a variety of materials using different tools and techniques. These may include paint, collage, printmaking, ICT, clay or sculpture Demonstrate creativity and attention to detail, both characteristics of a graphic artist.A familiarity of standard industry hard- and software is required, in addition to keeping up with upgrades and advancements. Because each student comes to class with his or her own ideas and suggestions, teachers must allow a certain amount of creativity without imposing their ideas on to students Deliver a consistent Creative/Graphic Design curriculum and implement a team approach to working with students using real world experiences and technology used as educational learning tool. Use a hands-on approach emphasizing appropriate concepts relevant to professional skills and career path progress Set up and maintain facilities such as kilns for ceramic work, studios and storage areas Order and maintain Creative Design resources and materials within the budget allowance Demonstrate the use of Creative Design materials and tools such as oils, watercolors, palettes and palette knives, brushes, pens, pencils, dyes, clay, fabric, canvas and paper Plan and arrange for exhibitions of student work in and out of school Experience with Advanced Placement Courses and Exams Perform other duties as assigned by the Curriculum Developer Seek continuous professional development opportunities in Creative Design teachingEducation: Bachelor degree in CREATIVE DESIGN, DESIGN TECHNOLOGY or MEDIA related discipline from a recognized University (Not online) in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA and Scandinavian countries (due to visa restrictions) Master degree in above related subjects preferred Teaching Certification an asset Excellent English skills and could pass an IELTS exam at level 7Experience: Minimum 3 years experience teaching Secondary Grades in a reputable school Online teaching and learning skills using different applications Experience with Advanced Placement courses and exams Familiarity with Web 2.0 Tools SKILLS REQUIRED: Knowledge of Art Materials and their use Arrangement of visual elements in a work of art Orientation, balance and harmony of visual elements Understanding and using the techniques of rendering tonal value Color theory and techniques for working with colors Develop a thorough knowledge of typography Knowledge of Web Design CONTRACT DETAILS:Start Date: August 2021Location: UAE - Various locationsSalary: TAX FREE Monthly salary is AED 11,998Housing Allowance: AED 10,400 - 9,280 (single) or AED 9,280 - 11,600 (married) Depends on location. First 29 days spent in Hotel while you look for accommodation. Help is providedMedical Insurance: provided for the employee, spouse and up to 3 childrenDependent School Fees: AED 80,000/- per annum per family (maximum AED 40,000 per child) when attending school in the UAEAnnual Air Fare: provided for the employee & family (spouse and up to 3 children)Mobilization package: Relocation ticket to the UAE for the employee & family (spouse and up to 3 children).AED 20,000 - relocation allowance upon joining (given in two equal amounts, upon arrival and after probation period)Visa Fees: Paid for the employee only.
