Job Description

Country Marketing Manager - Wound ManagementA global leader within the healthcare market that has a reputation for quality products and clinical innovation. Specialising in the medical device, pharmaceutical and biotech space the company offers fantastic career development opportunities.

  • Up to £70-75k Basic salary / 30% bonus

Access to SE / Midlands offices 1-2 per week. Days in the field with KOLs and work from home options (circa 2 days per week)Role -The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading an established team of four product managers. The position involves complete marketing responsibility - from strategy to delivery - across the companies wound management portfolio. Key areas of focuswill be digital marketing, marketing planning, strategic marketing process, market research, segmentation. Roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) -
  • Implement the tactics defined in the local marketing plan for assigned products or product lines and market segments. Execute day-to-day activities related to a specific product/product line and /or situation, including coordination of product availabilityissues.
  • Ensure plans/strategies anticipate the changes taking place in the markets and respond to current customer need, constraints & requirements.
  • Participate and provide input to strategic marketing plans for the product/product line for Europe. Contribute to build local pricing strategies taken reimbursement and GAPP strategies into consideration for assigned products/product lines within a givenrange.
  • Support the implementation of local marketing activities including market research. Provide feedback to local/European groups on markets, customer needs and developments as well as operational issues.
  • Implement communication plans, promotions, and other marketing programs in conjunction with the local Marketing and/or Sales team.
  • Create promotion material for local market consistent with Global/European brand and message guidelines.
  • Develop, adapt and implement training needed to train customer-facing employees in the country.
  • Develop a good understanding of competitive strategies in the country.
  • Provide marketing input into Business Development initiatives throughout the evaluation and contribute to Global/Europe strategic plan development via the European Marketing group.
  • Build solid relationship with key opinion leaders within the local market.
  • Develop and lead a marketing team/ a team of product managers and be responsible to enhance further marketing competencies.
  • Manage the marketing budget for assigned products/product lines.
Applicant -
  • Candidates will be proven Marketing Managers / Senior Product Managers with Team Leadership responsibility.
  • Candidates must have worked within the medical device or medical consumable, sectors when the NHS has been the key customer.
  • Candidates must be commercially focused and able to demonstrate their ability to use marketing strategy to deliver revenue and growth.
  • This role demand a marketing professional that has real depth of knowledge re marketing technical NHS focused products.
