As a Barclays Cost Planning and Integration Developer in the Risk, Finance and Treasury team, you will contribute to various projects spanning across critical technical deliveries, regulatory projects and platform. You will deliver robust design and technical solutions in a controlled, transparent and actively risk managed fashion. What youll be doing • Managing reference data, data integration and building technical solutions for Hyperion planning systems • Converting requirements in design documents and developing automated processes • Working on Hyperion Essbase, planning, scripting and batch automation • Automating using JavaScript, VBS, Ruby and Microsoft SQL programming • Using batch scheduling using Tivoli Workload Scheduler • Using file transfer mechanisms like Connect Direct, SFTP • Migrating and integrating FDMEE with Hyperion applications • Working in FDMEE, Jython scripts and handling Upgrades from FDM to FDMEE and building integration interfaces using FDMEE with Hyperion 11.2 What were looking for: • In depth experience with on Data Integration in multidimensional systems, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HPCM, DRM • Technical background in IT and/or Computer Science related degree • Skills/Ability to assess current build and design and recommend suitable improvements (where necessary) in the use of the Hyperion toolset across finance functions Skills that will help you in the role: • Experience in banking Where will you be working Weve been in Scotland for 250 years, and Scotlands significance to Barclays has never been as important as it is today.
