Job Description

Join a top 15 firm as Director of Corporate tax with a focus on property investment.This growing tax team is looking for a leader to join them . Report directly/work closely with team partner.A great opportunity for a senior manager looking to make the step up to director, or a director who wants to move to a company that will progress you to partner.The right candidate will have experience in property investment tax as well a cross boarder transactions.This firm is fun and inclusive with modern offices in central London. Offering highly flexible working conditions.Role Responsibilities;

  • Management of deadlines in a timely manner in respect of portfolio allocation
  • Scheduling of resources to assist with the delivery of work
  • Review provisions (including tax accounting) and final tax computations prepared other members of the team
  • Delivery of advisory work on a wide range of corporate and business tax issues primarily in respect of UK property (and corporate) acquisition structures, disposals, and group restructuring and reorganisations
  • Effective liaison with specialists in other areas of taxation and legal teams to provide coherent and joined up solutions
  • Support in respect of non-property related transactions, including Due Diligence
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
  • Business development activities including client presentations, writing articles, etc
  • Manage WIP and billing for own clients, ensuring commercial recoveries
  • Management of more junior members of the team to deliver work and provision of feedback
  • Responsibility for some administrative requirements and projects required to ensure the smooth operation of the corporation tax team
  • Input into tax team strategy, target setting, budgeting and monitoring ongoing performance
