Job Description

Join us as a Corporate Portfolio Management Associate

  • In this role, youll be responsible for your own portfolio of structured finance transactions
  • Day-to-day, youll focus on monitoring deals and client performance against specified triggers

What youll doAs our Corporate Portfolio Management Associate, youll create a reporting infrastructure to support ongoing portfolio lifecycle management activities across our securitised corporate banking book lending portfolio. This portfolio will include publicly rated CLO bond holdings, BSL, mid-market corporate leverage loans in both Europe and the US and structured private financing transactions backed by middle market corporate leveraged loans and recurring revenue loans. Your top priorities will include:
  • Utilising reporting to monitor the performance of underlying asset pools versus covenants and triggers on a deal-by-deal basis
  • Identifying and escalating any potential red flags and raising any process improvements and efficiencies
  • Preparing performance reports as required for stakeholders within the Private Finance and Credit functions
  • Working with the Technology function and other key stakeholders to further develop and automate the portfolio management process
The skills youll needTo be successful in this role, youll need a track record of creating the reporting analysis of complex subject matter. Youll also need a familiarity with transaction documentation, but training will be provided in relation to this. Having knowledge of securitisations, coupled with an understanding of leveraged loans or leveraged finance from a front office or portfolio management role, would be advantageous. In addition, youll need:
  • The ability to assimilate quantities of information
  • Organisational and data skills, including knowledge of how to use Excel and handle large data sets
  • Coding experience, including an understanding of SQL, VBA and data visualisation tools
  • A willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of how to work with others to perform complex tasks
