Job Description

Do you have Learning & Development experience and are looking to support one of the UK’s largest Market Research AgenciesThe Role....Ipsos MORI Academy delivers training events nearly every day throughout the year to support business needs, providing high quality, relevant learning and development opportunities to colleagues across the business.As L&D Programme Lead you will have overall responsibility for our important and high profile Development Programmes across the UK business. These include Generation Ipsos (our graduate programme), Management Orientation and our Future Leaders Programme.What you’ll be doing….This is an extremely varied and interesting role and the responsibilities will include:-

  • Lead our Academy development programmes: Generation Ipsos Graduate programme, Management Orientation and Future Leaders
  • Ensure Future Leaders, Management Orientation and Graduate programme (Generation Ipsos) incl. MRS Advanced Certificate run smoothly and deliver a high quality experience for delegates
  • Liaise with the business to ensure the programme content meets business needs and is continuously improve all 3 programmes
  • Create the programme schedules and advise trainers and facilitators on their content and best practice delivery (encouraging innovative approaches etc)
  • Create impactful communications for the programmes so that the delegates and all stakeholders are aware of the content and outcomes
  • Work with trainers to update or add new courses so the programmes keep aligned with business needs, or to create new learning experiences for participants
  • Work closely with the Early Careers Talent Partner to plan the future cohorts of Graduates and make their overall experience as a new joiner and Graduate cohesive and smooth
  • Update the Management Committee and other key stakeholders regularly on programmes activities and key milestones
  • Co-host the Graduates and Future Leaders presentations to the Management Committee with the CEO
  • Deliver Briefings for programme participants and their managers to welcome them at the start and share information about coaching, presentations to the Management Committee, and the MRS Advanced Certificate
  • Check in with programmes participants, trainers and coaches regularly throughout the programmes to ensure everything is going well, and resolve any potential issues early on
  • Keep close to the Future Leaders and Management Orientation participants experience to ensure they are engaged with their learning
  • Keep a close eye on Future Leaders participants engagement levels with coaching and ensure they understand the value
  • Use data to demonstrate the value of the Academy development programmes to key stakeholders, and make any necessary changes to the content based on participants’ feedback
  • About you… To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and experience:-
  • Understanding of all aspects of talent development
  • Understanding of learning best practice
  • Experience of presenting and facilitation would be beneficial
  • Ability to coach, challenge, guide and advise key stakeholders, to secure support and deliver against the talent agenda
  • Proven track record of working closely with senior managers, HR and L&D partners to identify and understand strategic talent and development needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of delivery through influencing and building strong relationships
  • Tenacity and resilience to flourish in a fast-moving and constantly evolving environment
  • Business focused thinking and commercial experience
  • The ability to combine strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach
  • Strong organisational skills and proven ability to re-assess priorities according to changing circumstances
