Prospectus is excited to be working with a leading international food charity focused on sustainable and nutritious meat alternatives. They are looking to bring in a Corporate Engagement Manager into their team to support the organisation and engage exciting forward thinking new business to drive action to accelerate the growth of alternative proteins across Europe.This growing international organisation sees industrial animal agriculture as at the root of many of the most pressing global issues of our time, from the global climate breakdown and global hunger to antibiotic resistance and the exploitation of billions of animals annually. This organisation is at the forefront of the movement to use food technology and markets to replace the products of industrial animal agriculture with plant-based and cultivated alternatives. You will focus on building relationships with major established companies, influencing them to invest in alternative proteins, stock more alternative protein products, and create new products in this space. As well as engaging with individual decision makers, including senior executives at C-suite level, you will also help to catalyse the sector at the ecosystem level. You could also explore the potential for engaging with entrepreneurs, startups and investors, if this proves to be a strategic area for maximum mission-impact.The ideal candidate will be passionate about the philosophy and mission of the organisation, with significant experience of engaging and influencing a range of significant stakeholders in business, investment and the food industry. You will have excellent communication skills with a proactive solutions drive approach.
