Copywriter - Tech£35,000 - £43,000 + Bonus + Excellent BenefitsHybrid Leading media publishing company seeks a talented copywriter to join their team, writing compelling content on the tech industry.Are you excited about technology and have experience writing long form articles to an exceptional standard Interested in joining a fun media business with lots of scope for progressionThe Role: Copywriter:Our client is looking for an ambitious partner content copywriter to join their growing sponsored publishing team. With more than ten million page views a year and a community measuring in the hundreds of thousands, our client is a media, conference, andtraining company that serves the tech market.You will be expected to write and edit weekly sponsored content pieces, both advertorial and thought leadership-type material, as well as contribute to eBooks, press releases, and other client content. You will work closely with the Head of Partner Contentand the Partner Content Editor.An ideal candidate would have experience writing about the technology sector, but this is not essential if you can learn quickly and understand technical topics. Industry-specific training will be provided. An ability to work with clients is expected.Occasional travel to industry events will be a requirement for this role, including international - the frequency of which will be determined by business need.Profile of Candidate required:Essential:

  • 2 Years + experience in copywriting - ideally a tech background
  • Proven experience in embodying the client through written form
  • Ability to write well-structured, clean, and engaging copy
  • Experience in journalism, marketing, or copywriting
  • Ability to deliver against multiple briefs, and meet competing deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously as the role progresses
  • Professional client-facing demeanour
Desired:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in media, journalism, or a similar field
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience within the technology/data centre industry
  • Experience interviewing subject matter experts
  • Copyediting experience
  • Ability to write about highly technical topics in an engaging way
