End dateMonday 11 December 2023Salary range£66,861 - £74,290Agile Working OptionsHybrid WorkingJob descriptionJOB TITLE: Content Governance Manager (12-Month FTC)LOCATION: LondonSALARY: £66,861 - £74,290HOURS: Full TimeDURATION: 12-Month Fixed-Term ContractWORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time in the London office.About this opportunityLloyds Banking Group works with a third-party content governance tool, which helps writers produce high-quality, clear and accessible content that’s on brand and in line with the Group’s editorial and brand guidelines.Youll work with the third party and with the Group’s many content creators to make sure that the technology continues to deliver value to its users.As Content Governance Manager, itll be your role to:

  • Know and understand the bank’s editorial and brand guidelines and how these are applied across the entire customer experience.
  • Work closely with the third party at both a strategic and a granular level to make sure the tool is supporting us to deliver on the above point.
  • Collaborate with content writers and business SMEs to define, set up and maintain target rulesets and guidelines within the tool.
  • Create and maintain sets of terminology within the tool, to help writers stay consistent and on brand.
  • Understand how the Consumer Duty Customer Understanding regulations affect customer communications, and work with the Consumer Duty programme to make sure the tool is helping us stay compliant.
  • Promote and socialise the tool across the bank to expand the user base, including training of new users and run regular drop-in sessions for colleagues.
  • Act as the gatekeeper between our users and the third party - understand issues raised, create and follow up on support tickets, test bug fixes and new features before release.
  • Use data insights to help inform product evolution and/or behaviour change.
What youll need
  • Experience in written communications - as a content designer, copywriter or UX writer.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining business-wide content standards, style guides, voice and tone, and additional subject matter expertise.
  • An understanding of linguistics and an eye for fine detail.
  • A collaborative mindset ready to be a part of a busy multi-disciplinary team.
  • The ability and confidence to influence and manage multiple stakeholders at all levels across different disciplines.
  • A focus on customer-centred outcomes.
