Role: This role will work closely with Treasury to implement and ensure processes are in place to support both our Central Bank and Sub Custody relationships and with multiple business units within Northern Trust including various operational areas, Client Services,Product and Change Management across the global regions. This will also include changes in the operating model that require both intradayand end of day Cash Management critical tasks in support of securities settlement and payments. The preferred candidate will need to be analytical and make difficult decisions with multiple competing deadlines. The role will requires skills to establish a strong control environment including engaging in Risk & Control Self Assessments (RCSA), Business Continuity, Audit and CASS assurance. The Key responsibilities include: - Responsible for managing Liquidity and Cash Management operational activities arising from the implementation and transitioning of Northern Trust agent banks/sub custodians. - Responsible for the smooth management of liquidity and cash flows between legacy models and the strategic models, ensuring that client expectations are met as well as managing reputational and regulatory requirements. - Responsible for supporting our offshore Cash Operations team as oversight and point of escalation and leadership for Cash Product, Interest and Claims related queries. Skills/Qualifications They successful candidate will benefit from having: - Prior knowledge of Cash liquidity Management, payment flows, Interest Claims or general cash custody products. - Demonstrated understanding of Global Custody and related Securities Industry Cash processing - Balance sheet awareness - Oversight experience with a demonstrated ability to make difficult decisions - Direct partners to accomplish team goals and ensure work is completed - Excellent communication skills - verbal, non-verbal and written - Proven ability to take ownership for own actions and outcomes and work with minimum supervision - Demonstrated experience utilising an innovative approach to problem solving with solid analytical and organisation skills - Demonstrated ability to understand the need to have risk mitigation to meet internal and external compliance and regulatory expectations and pro-actively strengthen the control environments Working with Us: As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
