Our department is full of opportunity for a new or established consultant physician to develop their career in general and subspecialties of geriatric medicine. The role will include time with the newly expanded acute frailty service in acute admissions and the Emergency department, supervising a team of doctors and Band 7/8 Frailty practitioners to deliver high quality comprehensive assessment to frail patients at the front door of the hospital. The post will also include time on a specialty geriatric inpatient ward managing complex inpatient cases, outpatient and rapid access clinics, and opportunities to deliver and develop our involvement in local community health services. You will also join a large number of physicians and specialties in contributing to the acute medical rota, with periodic acute blocks.You will join our existing team of consultant geriatricians, working on the Charing Cross site.
