Job Description

This role is for a senior Lawyer with experience in the conflicts and compliance space to join a Magic circle firm in London for a 12-month Fixed term contract.Client DetailsThis company is a world-renowned player in the legal industry. Boasting a team of over 1000, they are committed to delivering top-tier legal services across a broad range of sectors.Description

  • Providing proficient legal advice on conflict matters
  • Undertaking initial AML and Sanctions assessment with new business matters, working closely with the Financial crime team to resolve any issues
  • Remaining up to date with regulatory advancements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assisting with the development of conflict avoidance strategies
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of conflict cases
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders
  • Monitoring and reporting on conflict issues
  • Contributing to the development of legal policies and procedures
  • Participating in legal projects and initiatives
ProfileKey requirements:
  • Qualified Lawyer with significant PQE
  • A solid background in law, with experience in conflict resolution in a law firm
  • Exceptional understanding of legal compliance and regulation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A collaborative approach to team projects
