Job Description

Compliance Oversight Officer (Mortgages), London (remote working), FTC; £40-50k.An exciting and expanding new FinTech Mortgage Broker seeks a Mortgage Compliance specialist to provide compliance advisory support and oversight to their mortgage broking team.This is a short-term contract (2-3 months) with potential to go permanent.The role:

  • You’ll work closely with and advise the mortgage team
  • Providing compliance oversight of the advice process through monitoring and reviews
  • Implementing relevant advice monitoring and reporting to control risks
  • Contributing to broader compliance work, including thematic reviews, to continually enhance controls
  • Assisting with regulatory and other ad hoc projects
  • Assisting in preparing and maintaining policies and procedures
  • Investigating complaints through to satisfaction conclusion
  • Reviewing and approving financial promotions and communications
    • To apply:
  • You must have experience in a similar compliance advisory and oversight role within a mortgage broking environment.
  • Be fully conversant with relevant FCA regulations.
  • Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Methodical, analytical and adaptable.
