Compliance AssistantSalary: £25k (salary review after 3 months with a view to increase)Location: London (hybrid working 3 days a week in the office, if preferred)Responsibilities & Duties: Provide ad hoc support to the Anti-Money Laundering & Safer Gambling Teams as required. Complete Know Your Customer checks and document verification on new members. Request customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence documentation from members who meet internal thresholds and controls as well as on a case-by-case basis. Review accounts for required documentation prior to suspensions, carrying out account suspensions for those who have not provided the required documentation within the set timeframe. Completing Customer Due Diligence checks and verification. Completing a review of non-invasive affordability information from a 3rd party provider and making recommendations to senior members of the Compliance Team for next steps. Completing Safer Gambling reviews of members accounts, providing recommendations to senior members of the Safer Gambling Team on interactions. Responding to general enquiries from members via phone, e-mail & text messages. Provide administrative support to the Head of UK Compliance & Group Compliance Director.The list of responsibilities & duties is not exhaustive.Required skills and experience: A keen interest in developing a career within Compliance. Previous administrative work, preferably within a regulated environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Analytical mindset. Good telephone manner. Understanding of sports, sports betting, and online casinos.Desired experience: Remote gambling experience (within customer service / risk management / compliance). Compliance related experience (administrative / operational). Accountancy / Financial / Legal related studies (A-level / Degree level).This role is suited for someone who may have just finished their studies or currently works in the gambling industry looking to progress their career and progress within compliance. This is an entry level role, joining an ever-growing and developing teamand department. Training to move up to a Compliance Officer position will be provided to the right candidate.
