Job Description

Part- time Office Manager£40k Pro Rata (take home would be £22k - £25k)Central London/ hybridCompliance Duties Our client was shortlisted for MRS Best New Agency and in 2020 won a Gold UK Business Award for Professional Services. The company has excelled over the last few years, and have grown their revenue year on year (despite the pandemic), with big plans forthe future - With 18 team members, our client is looking for another fantastic individual to join. As a small and growing business, you will have the opportunity to sink your teeth into a variety of tasks. You will be working with a range of different clientsin a number of sectors including PR, technology, and the built environment so every day can bring different ideas and challenges.The role is very varied, and includes regular and ad hoc activities. We are looking for someone who can enhance our HR and compliance skills, whilst being eager to get involved in other aspects of the role. The current team will share some responsibilitieswith you, and you will cover each other when out of office.Duties:

  • Taking ownership of the compliance and legal activities in the business (managing the health and safety policy and induction, managing GDPR and data privacy requirements, reviewing contracts and Terms and Conditions)
  • Dealing with light-touch HR tasks (onboarding new staff, updating and creating policies as and when required etc)
  • Helping with some light-touch finance tasks (confirming invoices, helping to chase debtors)
  • Office management: Sharing the office management responsibilities (keeping the office tidy, clean and organised, managing the waste and recycling and ordering any extra supplies)
  • Providing a light-touch personal assistance role to Directors. (helping the Directors to manage diaries, booking travel and accommodation)
About you:
  • Has a high level of attention to detail
  • Is trustworthy and reliable
  • Has experience of managing data privacy and GDPR requirements
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and with clients and suppliers
  • An understanding of legal documents such as contracts and terms and conditions
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
