Job Description

As Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will efficiently manage the payroll, pension, and benefits function for group. This role will sit within the HR and Payroll function and will assume line management responsibility for one.Client DetailsMy client is a global retailer, based in London.Description

  • Lead and manage the payroll team, including regular one to ones with team member to support with their progression and development
  • Manage the monthly payroll process for all store staff across UK and Europe as well as head office /distribution centre staff, ensuring payroll is accurate and on time, every time
  • Be the subject matter expert for payroll operations and point of contact for payroll and benefits related queries
  • Reconciliation of monthly payroll, pensions & PAYE liability
  • Work closely with Finance department to ensure correct journaling and accruals processes, as well as reconciliation of payroll accounts
  • Up to date knowledge and understanding of non-UK payroll regulations and processes, enabling effective and smooth processing of our Irish, Danish, Dutch, German, Belgian and Hong Kong payrolls
  • Management of payroll auditing processes
  • Project Manage all payroll related projects from idea to completion ensuring sufficient communication and training for wider Payroll team
Profile
  • Experience working within a fast paced, high volume payroll function - ideally within retail
  • Experience of non-UK payrolls, specifically ROI, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, and Hong Kong would be a distinct advantage
  • Sound and full knowledge of all statutory legislation & procedures
  • Experience of processing P11Ds, PSA, RTI, EPS, and ERS returns
  • Experience of dealing with and managing company benefits such as, company cars, life assurance, private medical, childcare vouchers, and cycle to work schemes. Including retendering, internal communications, and promotion
  • Strong Auto Enrolment / pension experience
