Job Description

We are looking for someone to lead the newly developed Hammersmith and Fulham, Specialist Psychosis Rehabilitation team. This service is part of an exciting new tri-borough initiative in community rehabilitation for people experiencing complex psychosis across West London. The ethos of the service is to work with people in the least restrictive environment suitable to their needs and as close to home as possible.The service is comprised of a multidisciplinary team, consisting of Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, Psychiatrists and Substance Use Specialists, as well as a variety of specialist Support Workers. You will be supported in this role by a Service Manager, Lead Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrist and the Team Leads in the other boroughs.We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader, who is compassionate towards their service users and staff needs. MDT members will have reduced caseloads for care co-ordination in order to provide more intensive rehabilitative support and the service will provide support to service users for approximately 2 years. To thrive in this role, you will need to be resilient, committed, and adaptable to working in a developing environment.Your role will be to support the Hammersmith and Fulham team in the day to day running of the service and work with them to deliver high quality assessments and on-going care.You will also need to develop strong working relationships with the supported housing providers in Hammersmith and Fulham, as many of our service users will be in a range of high and medium support accommodations.For further details / informal visits contact:NameDr Bradley PlattJob titleService ManagerEmail addressBradley.platt@westlondon.nhs.uk
