Job Description

A Global Social Media Company based in London is seeking a Communications Specialist to join their team on a 9 month contract.The communications specialist will manage and produce internal communications. The communications specialist is tasked with creating internal communications to promote, increase awareness and engagement on all produced content and events.Duties:

  • Building and maintaining social presence
  • Promoting company-wide and site-specific events
  • Organising and running online events and meetings
  • Producing and publishing social media communications, such as newsletters
  • Developing the internal social media communications strategy for a large product group to build excitement and awareness of our progress and accomplishments
  • Selecting, designing and producing communications, such as newsletters, weekly wins, and progress reports
  • Designing and running live online and recorded events, such as all-hands meetings, Q&A briefings, and panel talks
Skills and experience:
  • 2+ years experience working in social media communications roles
  • Skilled with media production tools, such as Camtasia, Scrapbook, Canva.com
  • Experience proofreading and editing
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Attention to detail
  • Established record of strong project ownership and self-direction
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
