This is an ambitious strategy, and we will need talented people to help us achieve it.Werelooking for an experienced Communications Officer to join a busy news desk, primarily supporting inbound enquiries, whilst helping place proactive news.You will have at least two years experience of working as part of a busy news desk, which balances theeveryday with the unusual; prioritising and scheduling to match resources with demands and supporting colleagues along the way.Purpose of this roleThis important role will work with the Lead Manager and news team on a busy news desk, primarily supporting inboundenquiries, whilst helping place proactive news.Youll thrive working to deadlines and be comfortable managing multiple projects, while being able to deliver communications and advice to a high standard. You will have the ability to switch from providing strategicadvice to senior colleagues to triaging enquiries and maintaining the regular rhythm of a communications team.Main activities: A key member of a small, busy news desk team, primarily supporting inbound enquiries, whilst helping place proactive news. Developmentand maintenance of internal and external products and content.
