It will play a key role in supporting the development of Inchcape’s reputation and brand with a focus on content for intranet, websites andsocial media.The successful candidate will also manage global content planning and calendars to drive efficiency and consistency in global messaging and communications.This is a diverse and hands-on role where you will be required to work across a range of projects simultaneously. You will work with Communication colleagues globally to support the development and delivery of new communication channels and compelling contentacross all formats.Main ResponsibilitiesChannel development & Management• Develop and manage our global intranet (Viva Connections) and colleague communications platform (Viva Engage).• Provide event management and content development support for townhalls, roadshows and conferences.• Support content creation and publishing to our website and social media sites.• Produce engaging videos for internal and external audiences.• Identify and explore new communication channels to help reach our audiences effectively.Content creation• Develop, write, and edit engaging content for various channels, including internal communications and campaigns, email, newsletters, website and social media.• Collaborate with regional and functional teams to ensure the alignment of messaging and content across all communication channels.• Curate and schedule content to maximise reach and impact.Planning analytics & reporting• Maintain and develop a global communications plan.• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each communication channel.• Analyse channel performance and user engagement, adjusting strategies as needed.• Provide regular reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of communications and channels.Cross business collaboration & best practice sharing• Work closely with regional and functional Communication teams to ensure cohesive and unified messaging across all digital channels.• Help develop and promote regional content for global channels.• Working with creative communication agencies to help shape and deliver key communication campaigns.• Support the development of best practice content and channel management across the business.The Ideal Candidate• Significant communications, content development and channel management experience.• Familiar with using the Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Microsoft Viva/Yammer and SharePoint.• Proven experience in managing communication channels and optimising outreach.• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data-driven decision-making.• Excellent organisational and project management skills.• Ability to adapt to evolving trends in communication technologies.• Website and social media experience, including using WordPress.• Experienced in video production and editing and the management of external creative agencies.• Proven experience of writing and developing content for a variety of media.• Design experience would be desirable but not essential.• Spanish or other Inchcape language skills desirable, but not essential• Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferrable.About UsInchcape is a leading independent global automotive distributor and retailer.
