Job Description

Communications and Engagement Partner needed to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role with the opportunity to work across both sides of our organisation, in both the commerce and Tech and AI organisations, to really drive communicationsand engagement activities for our employees. Reporting into the Chief People Officer the role will work within the People function, but also have key relationships with the Marketing and wider internal communication colleagues across the group.What you’ll be doing:

  • Establish and own the internal communications calendar of activities across the businesses, in conjunction with CPO and wider communications teams
  • Work closely with the People and L&D team to drive higher employee engagement
  • Own and facilitate monthly townhall meetings and weekly sync up sessions
  • Involvement in the annual summit events and coordination of events to encourage attendance in the office or to celebrate key dates
  • Play an active role in key engagement and wellbeing activities within the wider group strategy and the communication strategy of these
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure design, messaging and tone of voice reflect
  • Coach and advise management on communication - content, delivery and impact
  • Manage third party vendors, ie design/brand agencies, for internal programmes
  • Draft messages or scripts from senior executives for presentation to employees in written or spoken form
  • Manage communications around our Reward and Recognition hub
What we want from you:
  • Demonstrable experience in a communications team, especially internal communication, for a fast moving organisation
  • Past experience managing complex projects and advising senior managers is key
  • Involvement in company wide engagements such as employee wellbeing strategies and the integration of such initiatives into the broader communication strategy.
  • Ability to draft messages or key notes from senior stakeholders for presentation to employees.
  • Ability to Craft compelling narratives and ensuring alignment with organizational messaging and brand
  • Experience managing company wide communications, including regular updates and projects
  • General journalistic or marketing experience is beneficial.
  • Writing/Presenting skills: You have excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees. You are able to come up with the right media to get across information and execute effectively.You have the depth in knowledge to be able to coach and advice people across the organisation on their communication skills
