Job Description

Kennedys is looking for a Communications Advisor to join our global Business Development team in London. The successful Communications Advisor will sit in the Marketing Communications team and will work under the direction of the Head of Marketing and the Communications Manager, supporting all areas of communications with a specific focus on developing and improving the Firm’s international communications and employee engagement initiatives. This will involve supporting and influencing Global Business Services Directors and other senior stakeholders such as Partners and international BD colleagues.TeamKennedys Business Development team promotes Kennedys services and supports the firm’s global growth ambition and our key clients and markets.The UK Business Development team consists of the following sub-teams, Pursuits, Clients and Markets, Client Development Systems and Marketing which encompasses, Digital, Brand and Events.We also have a Business Development presence in six global offices.Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Communications Manager to develop the strategy for and delivery of, the Firm’s internal communications programme that support the Firm’s vision, values and strategy
  • Build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders to adopt best internal communications practice
  • Produce creative and engaging content across various channels to reflect our brand, tone of voice and style guide. Manage the production of internal newsletters, videos, presentations and other content, including copy-writing, editing and proofreading
  • Maintain an effective communications infrastructure of tools and channels that enable flexible, agile and creative communication. These include, but are not limited to intranet, video, online newsletters and email bulletins working closely with our digital team.
  • Required experience
  • Internal communications experience preferable within a large, diverse, multi-region or global organisation
  • Excellent writing, editorial and proofreading skills with the ability to distil large amounts of information for diverse audiences
  • Experience of implement and managing an intranet
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to advise and influence stakeholders, building relationships at all levels
  • Experience using Microsoft Office 365, particularly SharePoint and Yammer
  • Effective project and time management skills, Able to multitask and prioritise work in a fast-paced complex environment, working to tight deadlines.
