Job Description Great opportunity to work in Derivatives Operations team to support their Commodities business and the new system implementation project. Responsibilities: As an Commodities Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of commodities operations to ensure efficiency and compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Trade Confirmation and Settlement: Confirming and settling commodity trades accurately and within specified timelines.
  • Risk Management: Monitoring and managing risks associated with commodities operations, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Reconciliation: Conducting daily reconciliations of commodity transactions and positions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensuring all documentation related to commodities operations is accurate, up-to-date, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, including traders, risk management, and finance, to streamline processes and resolve issues promptly.
  • Reporting: Generating and analyzing reports related to commodities operations for management and regulatory purposes.Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in finance, business, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in commodities operations within a financial institution.
    • In-depth knowledge of securities regulations and commodities markets.
    • FX, IRD and/or Metals business and market knowledge.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using relevant software and systems.
