Committees ManagerMembership BodyHome or Office Based - West London - Flexible/Hybrid Working ArrangementsBasic Salary £42,700 plus benefits 27 Holiday Days, Life Assurance, Pension, Income Protection, Critical Illness Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Private Medical Insurance, Health Cash Plan, Dental Insurance, Health Screening,Employee Assistance Programme, Cycle To Work , Season Ticket Loan , Travel Insurance , Eye Care , GymFlex (Gym Discounts), Holiday Buy / Sell , Give As You Earn We provide a charity giving scheme, Discounts & Your Discount Hub, Gourmet Card & TastecardPermanent, Full Time Excellent committees management experience is a MUST!Our client a nationally recognised membership body with 13,000 volunteers and 2,200 organisations as members is currently recruiting for a Committees SecretaryThe Role of Committees ManagerThis is a new permanent role and a chance to join a national, European, or international environment, to proactively manage a portfolio of standards development committees, projects, and programmes in order to publish standards and related content in a timelymanner taking into account stakeholders objectives and the related working procedures and systems.Key ResponsibilitiesBeing the expert in standardisation within the committee(s), provide advice and guidance to Chair, participants, and stakeholders as appropriateProactively manage meetings and facilitate consensus using relevant formats, working closely with the Chair and other relevant officers on conflict resolutionEnsuring committee structures are relevant, efficient and simpleProactively optimise procedures and systems to drive projects to timely and on-target publicationOversight of project and publication pipeline within portfolio, taking intervention measures when required and reporting into sector networkPreparing business cases as appropriate, working with colleagues to create realistic publication and marketing plansProvide briefs, input, and responses to Policy related to portfolio and proceduresGovernance interface (identification of risk and contribution to best practice)Advising and supporting the UK input into international and European standardisation, taking an active role in international meetings as appropriateWorking with committee members/communities to raise awareness of standards through their networks as appropriateAs required, to have oversight of balance and diversity of participation within the portfolio identify areas for recruitment campaigns, and seek input from stakeholders not on the committee.Support to sectors, services, and solutions through the provision of information and taking a role in project activities as requiredBuilding, maintaining, and developing committee and related industry knowledge and relationshipsWhat we are looking for:Education/QualificationsEducated to degree level or equivalent experienceKnowledge & ExperienceManaging multiple committeesMinute Taking/Taking Minutes/Minute TakerAbility to build relationships and understand stakeholder needsAbility to build knowledge of a market or industry and capture into the businessInfluencing and facilitation skills; ability to manage conflictTo apply for the Committees Manager role please send your CV.Due to the volume of applications we are only able to contact successful applicants.
