Job Description

Are you looking to step into a dynamic & strategic role within a leading, prestigious Real Estate business I am partnered with an incredibly exciting company that has a multibillion pound portfolio. They are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to jointhe team and act as dedicated business partner to support the digital function in the planning and execution of their 2030 strategy. The role will focus on supporting the development of the new Digital organization, delivering the tools and reporting to analyse and interpret current performance and provide flexible, scenario based forecasting and commercial support. The Commercial FinanceManager will build trusting relationships with the CDO and Digital Leadership team and across the wider business, influencing financial decisions through value added analysis and constructive challenge. You will:

  • Provide regular management reporting, covering all aspects of the digital cost base (organisation wide) including both capital and operating costs and project tracking
  • Lead quarterly forecasts, annual budget + 2-year planning cycle, including flexible scenario based analysis of resource requirements and implications
  • Develop value-add analysis and business cases to support key investment decisions and long-term value creation analysis for digital business models and programs.
  • Drive focus on priority activities by encouraging cessation of non-essential routines, and innovating communication and reporting styles
  • Refresh and streamline financial planning process, increasing focus on materiality, key drivers of performance and associated risks and opportunities
  • Support for SBU relevant investment propositions, including analysis, challenge of inputs and scenario modelling to ensure capital is allocated in the most effective manner across the group
  • Ad hoc analysis and support as required
You will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or Equivalent with strong analytical problem solving skills. Experience working within a digitally focused business is adventitious.
