Job Description

This role is for a diligent Finance Manager who can effectively oversee financial operations within the retail industry. The successful candidate should be adept at financial planning, managing financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting.Client DetailsThis organisation is a substantial player within the retail sector. With a headcount of over 10,000 employees across various locations, the company prides itself on its commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction.Description

  • Oversee the financial operations of the company in the retail sector.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
  • Manage company finances and prepare financial reports.
  • Control and evaluate the organisations fundraising plans and capital structure.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and companys policies.
  • Supervise financial assistants and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations.
  • Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk to the company.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of company financial procedures and related legal and regulatory information.
ProfileA successful Finance Manager should have:
  • A accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar).
  • Proven exposure in a commercial finance Environment.
  • Proficient user of finance software.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
