Job Description

My client, a leading Property Firm is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their expanding team. The company has recently developed several high-profile properties that are changing the London skyline.As a Commercial Accountant you will be responsible for delivering for a high-profile portfolio reporting directly into the Group Finance Manager. Other duties will consist of.

  • With the support of the asset managers, prepare financial forecasts for complex assets such as shopping centres and prepare reconciliation reporting against those forecasts
  • Work closely with the Accounts team in Property Management to scrape relevant data from specialist software such as Yardi, analyse it, and report on variances against forecast to illustrate net operating income of the assets and portfolios
  • Creation and ownership of a reporting format to illustrate key KPIs from financial data
  • Creation and management of complex, long-term development modelling for mixed use and strategic housing development sites to support decision making around timing of land sales and major cost items such as infrastructure
  • Creation of cash flow models that include debt and equity provisions and can support scenario testing;
  • Verify and analyse market evidence/trends
  • Help with analysis and data manipulation for a variety of instructions
  • Present data in a digestible way via the creation of charts, tables and graphics. Good working knowledge of PowerBi and other visualisation methods would be positive
Undertake direct communication with clients with the ability to clearly explain complex models.Candidates will be able to demonstrate strong organistaional skills, the ability to adapt to a changing environment and business partnering to non-finance directors.Candidates will be a Qualified ACCA or ACA Accountants.
