Job Description

Consumer Additions are working with a Private Equity backed Entertainment business, who are looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team.This is an excellent chance for someone with strong P&L knowledge and an eye for detail to move into a business-facing role with the opportunity add value with the business’ main revenue streams and automate processes.Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as finance business partner with a number of commercially facing departments
  • Leading the production of forecasts & budget as well as developing ad-hoc business cases
  • Support senior Finance team with financial modelling, project reviews and internal business cases
  • Ownership of forecasting and cost analysis, building monthly reports
  • Maintain and develop forecast models with trend and lead indicator analytics
  • Production and development of regular reporting packs and work alongside stakeholders to help drive and improve business performance
  • Build and drive the continuous improvements in the budgeting and forecasting models, including operationalising them on an appropriate platform
  • Work with department heads to identify and evaluate opportunities to improve profitability
    • Candidate Specification
  • Must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) part qualified
  • Strong intellect combined with attention to detail, well organised and process driven
  • Enthusiastic and adaptable working style, keen to identify opportunities for improvements and personal growth
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint/ Power BI Skills
  • Excellent planning and communication skills and personable in nature
  • Confident, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Adaptable and keen to learn
  • Straightforward, open personality and an enthusiastic, positive attitude
  • Experience of working in a similar role as a foundation in the Consumer space
