Job Description

Equifind are proud to be supporting an established investment management firm based in Londons Oxford Circus to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst.This dynamic investor raises capital from various different financial institutions to invest into clean energy, real estate, tech startups and other innovative businesses. To date, theyve raised and deployed for that £15bn in capital.Reporting into the CFO, the purpose of the role is to support various internal teams with financial management, fund performance, investor relations and more. The role will also work closely with senior management to provide analysis and support for thepurpose of investor relations, fund raising and due diligence / research.

  • Acting as a key contact across the business for all relevant funds in a business partnering capacity. Driving quarterly KPI analysis / trends.
  • Oversight of day-to-day finance operations caried out by external accountants
  • Prepare high-level fund management information pack and present to the Board on a quarterly basis
  • Management of fund audits and support for other (group) audits
  • Due diligence for external advisors and research houses, requiring analysis and dealing with ad hoc queries.
  • Support with preparation of investor relations marketing material and other investment literature
  • Review of quarterly investor statements
  • Driving business improvements where appropriate, for example with, systems and project work or streamlining by building models for efficiencies
  • Other ad-hoc work and analysis as required by the CFO, for example helping with the build of an illustration tool using models.
Application Criteria:
  • A recently qualified accountant, ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar
  • Experience of financial services not essential but will be considered positively
  • A minimum of three years experience gained ideally in audit, management or financial reporting
  • Strong Excel skills essential
  • Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • A high level of determination, willingness and flexibility to deliver to a high standard against tight deadline
  • Be able to present financial data to a high standard in a clear and concise format
  • Collaborates across the organization by communicating regularly and consistently to peers
