Job Description

Purpose of positionWe are looking for a high-calibre individual that will excel in developing New Business opportunities within the UK SME market. This role sits in one of two dynamic and energetic sales teams, each of whom have a focus and specialism in particular business sizes.Working within the New Business team in the Commercial Department, this role offers the successful candidate the opportunity of joining a dynamic and energetic sales team. The individual must be able to implement a sales strategy and ensure the company meets revenue and profit objectives through targeted prospecting of SME accounts.The Commercial Executive will be responsible for developing new SME based business through inbound web leads but also outbound activity, and nurture those leads through phone follow-up communications, and in instances presentations.The ideal candidate will need to be a proven self-starter with bags of energy, personality and enthusiasm who is fearless in the quest to uncover new leads. They will have a minimum of 1 years selling experience or 1 years experience in the affiliate space.This is an opportunity to earn big with an uncapped personal OTE commission structure.Key TasksKey responsibilities within this superb role include:

  • Maintain and develop the prospect pipeline of inbound and outbound activity daily using our Salesforce CRM system
  • Educate new prospects about Awin, its market position and the market as a whole
  • Adopt a consultative and mature approach, able to engage with senior decision-makers about strategic market trends, industry progression and online development
  • Respond and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods
  • Maintain and develop your own knowledge of suitable sectors to become an expert
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are a must to succeed in the role
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and customers
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
  • Plan/carry out/support Awin marketing activities to agreed budgets and time-scales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g. product launches, promotions, annual Black tie event, exhibitions and telemarketing
  • The ability to sell other elements of the business portfolio including our annual event and new technology launches as they are developed
  • Whilst the above is a guide to general expectation of the role, we expect this position to evolve allowing you greater scope to gain both knowledge and experience within the online and affiliate marketplace.Skills & ExpertiseTo be successful you will need to meet the below requirements:
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of affiliate marketing and breadth of understanding of online media
  • Strives to continually improve productivity and quality of work produced
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Results-oriented, driven by both financial and career opportunities
  • Possess strong communication (both verbal and written), and customer service skills, and exchange information with others clearly and concisely
  • High degree of resilience and persuasiveness and negotiation skills
  • Minimum 1 years sales or affiliate experience
