Job Description

You must be fast and efficient in word and excel, some knowledge of databases would be useful but not essential. In house training will be provided for all aspects of this role, so a willingness to learn is essential. The role is with a small team and is extremely fast moving and offers great opportunities for career development within the business.Purpose of the role:Day to day management of some of Greenergy’s largest customers in conjunction with senior management. To manage compliance of sales and purchase contracts within the UK to ensure hedging and contract volume compliance. Communicating and liaising with customers and own fleet haulage regarding liftings performance and optimising pricing positions. Managing communications around all operational issues that impact customers (internal and external).Duties required:• Day to day management of large customers including (but not limited to):• All compliance associated with sales - and any impacted links to purchase arrangements• Ensuring all reporting is delivered on time internally and externally• Building and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, whilst ensuring best outcomes for Greenergy.• Updating the compliance sheets on a daily basis and highlighting significant discrepancies between actual and forecasted lifting’s to the commercial team and the business (morning meetings).• Effective compliance management to ensure that costs are kept to a minimum, and gains are obtained where possible.• Notifying customers (internal and external) and terminals of any allocations or restrictions as advised by the commercial team and business for contractual, stock and pricing reasons• Ensuring contractual costs are recovered for out of tolerance performance.• Nominating third party planned lifting volumes to our Suppliers, taking into account full optimisation to ensure that planned volumes are in line with up to date break-evens and contract requirements.• Working with the Head of UK Sales and Supply, and Optimisation Manager for strategic planning and forecasting, utilising optimisation and resource availability.• Responsible for ensuring annual compliance is adhered to on Sales and Purchases, and trending non-compliance is flagged and actions taken to correct.• Issuing lifting instructions to both the commercial diesel team and to the scheduling team, and ensuring that lifting’s are aligned with the instructions.• Act as the link between the schedulers at Tamworth, the London operators and London traders, for the commercial team.• Manage the relationship with Tamworth to ensure instructions followed leading to contractual and optimal performance.• On time reporting of compliance and performance, weekly and monthly as required• P&L reporting quarterly of compliance impacts.• Out of hours availability to respond to issues as and when required.Skill and knowledge required for the role:• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills• Curiosity to understand the business, and all processes - seeking constant improvement.• Excellent communication skills• Excellent numeracy skills.• Detail orientated.• Intermediate/advanced Excel.• Intermediate/advanced Outlook.• Intermediate PowerPoint.• Data entry for use of in house database system (TPT and HAL) to/for:• Entering and amending contracts• Entering nominations• Issuing spot sales• Sanity checking lifting’sPeople are key to our continuing success; we work hard to reward, develop and retain staff.
