Up to £85,000Youre an AWS Solutions Architect. Its what you do, and its what you love doing. You can see the bigger picture. You know what works for one company, doesnt mean success at another. You love to design bespoke infrastructure and to you, every project is a clean slate and no two jobs are the same. However, its hard out there for creative Solutions Architects. Most of the jobs are cut and pastes of the last one, and more often than not, youre told what is going to work best, rather than the other way around. Its hard to find something a little different. Somewhere that you have a bit of freedom, where you can bring your knowledge around cloud technologies and DevOps to bear. So, what if there was a role (and a company) that allowed you to showcase your skillsA company where you would have your say throughout the entire migration or transformation, guiding them through each stage and even getting hands on if the desire takes you. (only if you want to!)Well, if thats sounding pretty good right about now, take a look at whats on offer…In terms of the company, theyre one of the UKs most innovative and fastest growing consultancies, with offices in London and Cardiff. They dont like to be looking over your shoulder, tutting if you dont do things "their way". They give you (and your colleagues) all the freedom you need to get the job done in a way that makes both you and the client proud. After all, they hired you because you were great at what you do, so why would they waste time trying to change how you work. The role itself is pretty straightforward. Theyre after someone with deep knowledge of AWSs core infrastructure and platform services, plus a broad understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools.Youll be working with clients of all sizes, from scale-ups to enterprise level, to create and implement new solutions that are fit for purpose. You may be giving their existing infrastructure a good polish or you may be designing some completely new and shiny. Youll be there at the start to understand what they need any why. Once that is done and the reports are written, you get to go away and design something awesome and then work closely with the Dev teams to see your baby come to life.Youll need to know AWS, like the back of your hand, preferably evidenced by a Solutions Architect certification or two. Equally as important is a good understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework. Ideally youll also come in with some solid DevOps knowledge, whether thats in CI/CD, containerisation, Infrastructure as Code or config management. In return, youll get a good salary, flexible working, the option to work from home whenever you fancy, and most importantly youll finally be in a role where you feel valued. No more monotony, no more Groundhog Day, and no more carbon-copies.Just you, your team, and a whole bunch of problems to solve.
