Job Description

Security Architect opportunity for a leading client.. Key responsibilities include supporting development of the technology roadmap for the cyber programme, assist with the related product reviews and complete the required high level architecture documents.In addition you would Review, make recommendations against the overall security strategy in alignment with cyber strategy including operating systems, applications, databases and network stacks. Complete security technology capabilities reviews / gap analysesfor agreed cyber programme objectives, document the findings and Engage with internal/external security authorities and ensure policy/direction is implemented in the relevant standards and designsSkills / Experience

  • Proven experience of security architecture, preferably Utilities sector
  • Strong knowledge of architecture principles, frameworks and Reference Models for Security
  • Experience with wide selection of Security tooling, covering Cloud and end user controls
  • Good knowledge with DLP, CASB, EDR and MDM
  • Experience with tooling selection or SIEM integration / securing devsecops processes
  • Experience in Microsoft Defender for 365, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel would also be a benefit
  • Knowledge of Cloud deployments and Orchestration tooling
  • Must be able to demonstrate a collaborative approach with other teams to establish appropriate approach to security
  • Must have prior experience of working with AWS and Microsoft security practices in the context of Cloud services and virtual datacenter provisioning
  • Good understanding of security & connectivity practices in the context of Cloud services and on-site services
  • Working knowledge of AWS and AZURE desirable
