Job Description

Cloud Infrastructure Architect | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working Lawrence Harvey are working with a well established end customer that are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect for a long term contract engagement.Determined Inside IR35 and expected to be on site 3 days a week in Canary Wharf, London.Looking for expertise in one or more Public Cloud provider technologies and can embed these capabilities into existing or new cloud based infrastructure solutions. This individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managingtechnology to enable go to market strategies.Key duties:

  • Spearhead Cloud Lifecycle from understanding the Business Case to Implementation / Migration to any of the cloud platforms
  • Should understand the complexities involved in integrating the various modules, functionalities supported, customer requirements & compliance / best practice
  • Identify key customer requirements, seek clarifications, understanding compliance and SLA requirements, envisage high-level solution and work with the SME to come out with the efforts involved for its implementation
  • Solution Architecture, Professional services SOW design and Service Offering Scoping / Project Definition
  • Architecting solutions around on Azure, AWS and Data Centre infrastructure
Tech expertise:
  • Experience in Assessing, Designing, Planning and Implementing enterprise grade Public cloud based solution and platforms
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure including platforms, networks and infrastructure
  • Experience with Datacenter technologies (Wintel / VMware, Linux, Server hardware and data centre networking)
  • Experience in implementing Azure / AWS based designs from greenfield
  • Understanding of Migrations and upliftment
  • Experience in DevOps and toolchain setup and operations
