Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Haematology/Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a CQC "outstanding" rated State of the art Cancer Centre in London. Contract: Full time. Monday to Friday.Competitive Salary DOE with excellent benefits.As a Clinical Nurse Specialist working as part of the Cancer Nursing Team, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care,you will play an important role in ensuring your patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate andcomfortable environment. This will include meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues.You will be support the nursing teams to develop knowledge and skills in haematology-oncology specialist nursing and education of patients and families with compassion and expertise.Skills & Experience:

  • Essential: Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Essential Minimum of 3 years Post registration experience within haematology or oncology setting.
  • Essential: Specialist training/qualification.
  • Desirable: leadership experience
  • Mentor and Preceptor experience
  • Motivated and forward thinking individual.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Evidence of understanding service development and improvement.
