Job Description

Client Money AuditorLocation:Hybrid / RemotePackage:NegotiableTravel:25%+ (As required)We are looking to appoint a Client Money Auditor to assist with the monitoring and management of Client Money Processes across the Group.Youll be working with a variety of stakeholders across both the existing estate and new acquisitions to ensure that all processes are followed correctly, consistently and CASS compliance is achieved in all areas.The day to day:

  • Quality control and monitoring through site visits and review of documentation;
  • Act as an internal audit function of processes around Client Money in each entity;
  • Ensure rule mapping and risk assessment is up to date for each entity;
  • Monitor and report on process changes required from risk mapping or audits;
  • Client Money training;
  • Highlight issues around entities which form part of Retail Transition;
  • Produce monthly client money Management Information (mainly run-offs) for use in various board and committee papers;
  • Monthly capital adequacy calculations for all regulated entities;
  • Review Quarterly and Bi-annual RMAR returns prior to submission for completeness and accuracy;
  • Track all audit and management breaches and offer a resolution where applicable;
  • Liaise with external Client Money auditors and
  • Annual bank due diligence for all banking providers within the Group;
  • Implement similar controls and processes in regulated entities that do not hold Client Money
About you:Youll have a solid understanding of CASS rules ideally coupled with exposure to working within an Insurance business.A skill set that includes high level communication (written, verbal, video), influencing, stakeholder management and IT skillsYoull be able to effectively plan and organise workloads whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.You should be comfortable in working in a fast paced environment and be able to prioritise tasks effectively.Relevant Professional Qualifications are highly desirable.A full driving licence / the ability to travel - site visits will be required as part of this role
