Job Description

Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds. We offer our UK employees a 3:2 hybrid working arrangement where Tuesdays, Thursdays and a third day of your choice are worked from the office. The other two days may be worked from home. This facilitates collaboration and allows employees to maximise productivitywhilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance. BackgroundThis is an exciting opportunity to support the Jupiters Head of Client Group Business Management and Onboarding in delivering an efficient and well governed function. The role will work closely with the Head of Jupiters Client Group Business Management toidentify, develop and implement a successful and well governed Change and Oversight function of Client Group. The role holder will be taken responsibility for parts of Jupiters Product Governance process. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of Client Group Business Management in delivering an efficient and well governed Client Group, including: Change Management

  • Ensure successful and in-time/in-budget delivery on key department projects, with multiple streams and under tight deadlines.
  • Undertaking deep dive" reviews of specific programmes to include, as required: consideration of governance arrangements, solution design and selection, delivery and implementation planning, programme resourcing, and the management of activities transitioningto BAU
  • Develop holistic management information and reporting on the risk profile of significant change programmes and the aggregate risk profile to the Group arising from change
  • Ensure a close collaboration and coordination with the central change function as well as with Finance and Technology.
Forecasting, budgeting and pricing management
  • Finance liaison to include cost oversight / budget management
  • Forecasting / Financial Planning for Client Group - ongoing and in particular during the annual budget planning cycle and in close collaboration with the Finance Business Partner
  • Feed into the organisational management of the Client Group including structure, people, and design.
  • A heavy focus on delivering on budget target objectives, and helping to drive client outcomes and business scale. As such, become an expert user of Room Zero in order to address and facilitate any inquiries in relation to fees, pricing, flows and clientbreakdowns.
Risk Management
  • Risk Liaison and Business Partnering with internal stakeholders on behalf of Client Group.
  • Representative at Risk, Compliance Committee inc. KRI management
  • Responsible for SMCR and ARC Management
  • RCSA management -act as the point person for Risk
  • Client Group ERIS incidents management
Governance and Oversight Management
  • Managing the completion of Compliance Monitoring Findings/ Internal Audit Reviews
  • Non-UK Platforms oversight management in collaboration with Central Client Service and with a particular focus on pricing decisions
  • Client Group Ops Resilience Forum representative
  • SOP internal stakeholder management and keeping the SOPs up to date
  • BCP management for Client Group
  • K&C management for Client Group
  • SMCR Management for both SMFs (MG, MM) and the certified population in the Client Group
General
  • Ensure a close working relationship with key stakeholders around the business such as Finance, Risk, Compliance and Change.
  • A heavy focus on delivering target objectives, and helping to drive client outcomes and business scale
  • Embrace continuous improvement of the Client Group by identifying opportunities to optimise process, increase automation, remove complexity, and drive business scale
Desired Skills / Experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant Asset Management experience
  • Knowledge of investment solutions across the asset class spectrum and relevant industry regulation, with a strong understanding of financial markets, economic, industry, and regulatory trends, and ability to provide clearly articulated and insightful conclusions.
  • Demonstrable expertise in risk, governance and control practices.
  • Experience in a change practitioner context, for example project or programme management.
  • Strong understanding of product regulation and product design principles.
  • Technologically proficient, with the ability to identify and implement digital process improvements.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across all seniority levels
  • Excellent verbal, and written skills, with a proven ability of effective presentation to a sophisticated audience (such as Board level)
  • Research and synthesise materials across diverse topics and be able to translate them into management presentations and messaging
  • Be highly self-motivated, and confident working independently and autonomously
  • Be comfortable in a results-driven environment, with willingness and ability to learn quickly, and adapt to challenges
  • A diligent person with exceptional attention to detail
