The Client Director will be the first point of contact for the client and will own all opportunities and challenges within the relationship. The role will develop close working relationships with the Shared Services Connected Ltd transformational delivery teams working within the Client to maximise business and to develop, lead and deliver the strategy for designated client. The Client Director must possess a solid business understanding regarding the needs of their customer and how the landscape is responding, changing and developing. You will develop a close working relationship with the client stakeholders to generate a collaborative service delivery management regime and enable the deployment of a clear business strategy aligned to the overall account strategy. You will need to work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure maximum value is provided to the client’s business, ensuring innovation within the life of the current contract and ensuring partnership working and collaborative behaviour is displayed.The role will require the successful candidate will be required to be in Gosport 1-2 days per week and a site visit to Glasgow once a month post Covid.Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand client priorities and set up plans that ensure delivery of business services and programmes.
  • To ensure improvement plans are developed, implemented and reviewed on a regular basis.
  • To act as a point of contact and provide relationship ownership and continuity for the designated client, aligned to the relationship management plan and overall account plan.
  • To own and develop client relationships in order to position SSCL and Sopra Steria as a strategic partner.
  • Establish and maintain strong communication channels between the delivery organisation, technology partners and the client.
  • Identify opportunities within the client as potential for generating business and to grow / expand the relationship in order to achieve growth targets.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of service to the client.
  • Identify and assisting in the development of propositions which will bring benefit to the client and SSCL/Sopra Steria.
  • To support the Sector MD, Executive Client Director and Strategic Sales in the development and delivery of the strategy for designated client, gaining the necessary buy-in from the sector and other internal stakeholders.
  • Participating in designing and executing SSCL and Sopra Steria services, solutions and propositions for the designated client.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and perception are achieved and maintained within designated client.
  • EssentialSkills
  • Excellent client or account management experience with the defence market, including aligning account strategies to revenue opportunities.
  • Development of new products/service solutions to meet future client/market needs.
  • Creation and execution of focussed account development plans to maximise opportunity, define multi-level contact strategies, provide structured engagement and predictable business development.
  • Build value-based client relationships across client/prospect organisations to maximise visibility, influence and effectiveness.
  • Executive level relationship management.
  • Encourages changes in the client organisation’s use of the products and services supplied to increase the benefits it obtains from them, and support client retention.
  • Experience of working for a system integrator/ consulting or digital transformation partner.
