Job Description

Client Communications ManagerLondon10 months contract£550 per day via Umbrella CompanyMy client is one of the worlds largest custodian bank and securities services company. The position will be working Monday to Friday, 3 days in the office 2 days working from home, however this is subjectto change. Working hours are 9am to 5pm, however the business do require some flexibility due to the nature of the role and dealing with stakeholders in the US.In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage client communication assets from inception through execution, including development of key messaging, driving communications processes and governance, securing approvals and distribution to targeted audiences
  • Liaise with Business, Change and Regulatory stakeholders to develop communications strategies and plans regarding various business, regulatory and change communications
  • Develop and implement strategic client communications plans to support critical client-impacting initiatives, regulatory change programs and strategic business change
  • Provide communications consultancy, advising on optimal client outreach strategies, distribution channel management and other tactics
  • Master digital tools to prepare and distribute internal and external communications to targeted audiences
  • Work and liaise with our various internal teams to contribute to and/or assist in the establishment of internal/external resource sites
  • Work with the Client Communications lead to help our work resonate with clients and inspire real change
  • Help communicate our recommendations, analysis and insights in ways that are clear and compelling across the marketing communications and client organization
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills
  • Leading communications initiatives and taking full accountability for communications deliverables and project workstreams supporting business lines and regulatory/change programs
  • Strong editorial background and proofreading skills, adhering to established best practices and technical style guides
  • Effective networking skills and ability to cultivate collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams, as well as senior-level management
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to execute at speed, high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Focused investment to elevating overall client experience through thoughtful engagement strategies and compelling communications
  • Demonstrated expertise with formal internal and external business communications.
  • Proactively shape creative communications and marketing content to showcase the organizations knowledge, tactics
  • Flexible approach to duties and scope of delivery is essential, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, supporting individual business lines as well as global enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Ability to proactively identify obstacles and recommend solutions, particularly within the context of a global, matrix financial services firm with multiple client touchpoints
  • Outstanding communication skills across formats that can be used to elevate strategic priorities
  • Exceptional at reconciling conflicting priorities and coordinating different efforts within a fast paced, influence driven and fluid operating environment, demonstrated comfort navigating ambiguity
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and executing client communications strategies to internal and external audiences across a variety of channels
  • Work with the Client Communications leader and colleagues to help build the required capabilities while embodying a "one team" ethos where challenges, opportunities are owned by the whole team.
  • Exemplify a data driven decision making approach where KPIs are tracked to drive insights and client-demand is evidenced and prioritized
  • You will anticipate, identify issues on the programs that you are working to mitigate situations that could affect the organisations reputation and market position
Background:
  • A professional background in corporate communications in a highly regulated environment, deep and broad business acumen; solid understanding of financial services industry a plus
  • Mastery of Microsoft office, particularly, Dynamics and team sharing tools
  • Background working in a global, matrixed organization and shared accountability in a cross-regional team environment
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of work experience required
