Job Description

Client AccountantEast London - HybridPermanent£30,000-£36,000Cobalt is proud to be partnering with an independently owned and operated Property Management business who have been established for over 100 years and specialising in Commercial property.This position is ideal for an Assistant Client Accountant looking to take a step up or for an experienced Client Accountant who is looking for a new challenge in a supportive and recognisable business.Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Client Statements, VAT reports, and Service Charge invoices.
  • Preparing draft Service Charge budgets in partnership with Property Managers.
  • Preparation of Year-end Service Charges including invoices, audit queries, and finalising accounts.
  • Attending client meetings and liaising with both tenants and clients in a regular basis.
  • Discuss, review, and update arrears, payment plans, rent schedules, and outstanding payments.
About You:
  • Previous experience within Client Accounting covering Residential, Commercial, or Mixed-use Assets is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, friendly, approachable manner, and can effectively build rapport with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with a Property Accounting software such as Qube, Yardi, or MRI would be beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail.
