Clerk of WorksVenn Group are working with a large NHS trust in South London to recruit for a Clerk of Works to work within the Capital Projects team.Rate: £28-£31/h (Inside IR35)Length: 6 months +Location: South LondonThe successful candidate will be responsible for:. inspecting construction work to ensure it meets Statutory standards and health and safety requirements. quality assurance monitoring, compliance with specification, NHS standards (HTMs and HBNs) and the Trusts standards. ensuring safe and efficient implementation of the ProjectsThe successful candidate will have: extensive knowledge of Health Building Notes (HBN) and Building Regulation Legislation professional membership of appropriate body e.g. Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate (ICWCI), CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) etc. detailed knowledge of construction techniques, H&S and technical standards within the construction industry
