Job Description

A Lloyds broker have a new opening for a Claims Technician. Our client are looking for previous claims handling experience, with prior experience of using ECF/CLASS. Solid experience of processing various claims bordereaux for Line Slip and Binder placements is required. Experience of handling Professional Indemnity and/or Directors & Officers claims would be preferred but isnt essential.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProcessing monthly Claims BordereauxCompiling loss runs/ claims experiences on request from internal placing teams or wholesale agentsContacting third party administrators on Binder/Line Slip contracts at Inception and renewal to provide our contact details and relevant process informationLiaising with third party claims administrators and Insurers when claims process or bordereau issues arise and working with them and the team to come to an effective solutionEnsuring all necessary information relating to the claim process is included in the Binder/Line Slip and if not referring to the placing team/ lead insurer to amendSeeing through and implementing process changes on binder accounts. Assistance with processing on larger open market accounts may also be required from time to timeFacilitating claims information on incoming and outgoing broker transfers where requiredSetting up new claims, this will mostly consist of claims that fall outside of TPA authorityMaintaining accurate and concise claim files on the system and monitoring the progress of claims using the diary functionWorking within agreed parameters and processes, undertaking prompt and accurate processing of collections, fee payments and other relevant data/ information on company systems in order to support high levels of client service and enable effective completion of internal processesBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets expectations and is compliant Developing and maintaining appropriate external relationships to ensure positive results for clients and the business Required skills
