In this role youll use your claims handling knowledge to find solutions for third parties that will help to reduce claim costs. Youll get to apply your excellent customer service approachto ensure that an outstanding service is provided to third parties through the claims experience you help to deliver.Youll be working with our third-party customers, handling both inbound and outbound calls. So youll need to bring your resilient approach and effective listening skills, helping you to ensure that their interests are always at the heart of what you do.Your ability to listen and recognise important information will help you to identify opportunities to promote our services and potential cross-selling opportunities.This is a permanent, full-time position and as investors in people, we are looking for those that are genuinely interested in starting a long-term career with Saga. Many of our senior leaders started in this position and our current agents describe the roleas one with good career and personal development opportunities.Our Claims Contact Centre opening hours are 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Main Responsibilities
  • Handle third party proactive claims by directly communicating with third parties.
  • Able to work under pressure to achieve SMART performance targets.
  • To provide proactive solutions to third parties and reduce claims cost.
  • Deliver outstanding third-party service throughout the proactive process.
  • Deal with all expressions of dissatisfaction in accordance with best practice.
  • Always maintain client confidentiality and act within the disciplinary code.
  • To contribute proportionately to the Team’s achievement of all its targets.
  • Manage third parties expectations of the next steps in the claim journey.
