Job Description

Chief Revenue Officer - CRO - Software - SAAS - Central LondonAbout the RoleOur client, a rapidly expanding and market leading ticketing and event management platform is looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Chief Revenue Officer ("CRO") to play a key role in structuring and supercharging the growth of this SaaS businessas they enter the next stage of growth. The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will join the senior leadership team and report directly into the CEO.Our client has achieved considerable success since their inception and yet have retained the energy, boldness and fun of a start-up and are now looking to scale up.Responsibilities The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will-

  • Lead the commercial functions of the business ensuring growth targets are met and maximise revenue potential.
  • Lead, organise and optimize all sales, marketing and client retention efforts across the business and develop the teams across those disciplines.
  • Contribute towards the development of Company strategy as a key member of the Senior Management Team.
  • Develop client partnerships and extract the maximum value from existing clients.
  • Client facing interaction - pitches, presentations etc.
About youYou will be an ambitious Head of Sales/ Business Development / Marketeer / CRO with experience in high-growth B2B technology/ SaaS/ software industry. A familiarity with a high growth and scale journey will be a significant advantage and allow you to succeedit this role.Our client is rapidly expanding, therefore preparedness to be involved at a detailed and daily level is important. To this end we envisage that the ideal attitude and attributes required may have been gained across both large and small employer environments.An entrepreneurial outlook is critical.Must-have
  • Experience of working in a high-growth B2B technology / SaaS business / software industry.
  • Experience within a start-up, scale up, fast growth SME or investor backed businesses.
  • A track record of managing/developing/building high performing sales and marketing teams.
  • Rigorously commercial with an eye for an opportunity.
  • Entrepreneurial mind-setand a natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experienced in pitching and winning new business.
  • An outstanding and accomplished networker
Nice-to-have
  • Event industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the market.
  • B2C2B experience.
