Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within this start-up for a Chief Revenue Officer to work closely with the Founder and COO to ensure the company reaches £10m in annual revenues by the end of 2024, in line with their series B growth plans. You will alsowork closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists on exciting projects aimed at improving the ease of access to gynaecological healthcare. Your main responsibility will be to drive revenue growth through a combination of sales channels, including retail,B2B, insurance, public payers, and workplaces.What you’ll be doing

  • Develop Revenue Growth Strategy:
    • Identify opportunities and devise a comprehensive strategy to achieve the 5x current revenue growth target.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customer segments, product-market fit, and competitive positioning.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop on-the-shelf promotional strategies, merchandising and pricing.
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • After successfully validating initial pilots in retail, B2B, and healthcare sales independently, build and lead a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and managing sales professionals.
    • Implement effective sales processes, methodologies, and metrics to optimize the sales cycle and drive revenue generation.
    • Foster strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the companys customer base and drive revenue growth, including partnerships with manufacturers, large pharmacy chains, and US-based health insurance providers.
  • Revenue Planning and Forecasting:
    • Work closely with the COO/CFO to develop revenue forecasts, budgets, and financial models aligned with the growth objectives.
    • Monitor and analyse key revenue metrics, sales pipeline, and conversion rates to ensure progress towards the 5x revenue growth target.
    • Regularly report on revenue performance to the executive team and board of directors, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Pricing and Monetization Strategies:
    • Develop pricing strategies that maximize revenue potential while maintaining competitiveness. Affordability is very important in gynaecological health, and you will be working with products that are early in their manufacturing cycle and therefore low-margin.
