Position: Chief Editor, Nature NeuroscienceLocation: New York or LondonApplication deadline: June 17th, 2021Springer Nature, the publisher of Nature, is looking to recruit a Chief Editor for Nature Neuroscience, a multidisciplinary journal publishing papers of the highest quality and significance across the span of research in neuroscience.We are seeking a visionary Chief Editor, who will build upon the success of Nature Neuroscience covering all aspects of research in the field. The successful candidate will manage a talented and motivated in-house editorial team. Previous editorial experience is required and managerial experience is an advantage. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. You must have a PhD in a relevant area. You would be based in our New York or London office.This demanding and stimulating role calls for a passion for communicating science. A key aspect of the job is interacting with the scientific community and attending international conferences. You must, therefore, be prepared to travel, and have excellent relationship building skills.
